RB Safety are heavily engaged in all programme and engineering activities, with a particular Combat Systems focus, through senior and executive management levels in the procurement of the Type 31 General Purpose Frigate (GPFF) programme. This has involved engagement with bidders, evaluation of bidder designs to MoD/Navy Command requirements and the establishment and agreement of a detailed Build Specification. The team have assisted in establishing an ‘intelligent customer’ organisation that will now oversee and assure the contractor delivers the capability to time and cost and performance.
